　　此片女主演最出名的角色是《老友记》里“Oh My God”的Janice。
　　本片中出现的照片和录像片段都是真实的，她曾在15岁时“抚养”过黑猩猩，也的确和海豚那样嬉戏过。
　　此片是大卫杜楚尼第一部有台词并且有很重要戏份的电影，他曾是女主（Maggie 当时还是Jakobson）男朋友，虽然两人说当时已分手；是女主向导演推荐的他。
　　女主后来在X档案里，也客串出场过。
