A troupe of struggling stage actors is rehearsing for a small-town production of a play. Everything seems to be as it should until one of the cast members turns up dead. In a panic, the others try to get out, only to find they are now locked in the theater with the killer! Which one of them committed the murder, and who will get out alive?

八十年代末期的铅黄，和巅峰时期的那几部自然不能相比。配乐依然很不错，配角智商依然不在线。前面比较无聊，后面气氛慢慢起来了，特别是女主拿钥匙那段，渲染的很紧张刺激。
an interesting 1980s giallo， a great great horror experience. masked killer(这回戴一个猫头鹰头套）活用giallo的dream quality。ms真实的开场戏原来是出舞台剧，而舞台上的凶杀很快演变成真实的凶杀，舞台成为盛大的屠宰场与高尔夫球场。大气磅礴的声效，以及Argento的影响（蹲下现出身后的凶犯）。

也真是够冷门了这片，灯光服饰配乐都妥妥的八十年代风，情节也不错。以舞台演出作为背景的设定无形中增添了很多cult感，但最萌的依旧是意大利人标准化的英语台词，有种仿佛在看高中英文课本例句的感觉。
