A horror movie star returns to his famous role after years in a mental institution. But the character seems to be committing murders independent of his will.

时代风格冲击
唯结尾很好，恐怖片大咖和自己标志角色终合一。考虑到这是Vincent Price在AIP最后一部片子，以及他饰演的角色—著名恐怖片演员，不妨把这片看作一次敬礼。片中更出现了不少他过去在AIP主演电影的画面，闹鬼的宫殿，魔鸟，陷坑与钟摆，House of UsherTales of Terror...Dr.Death则自然是Dr.Phibes
真·两好友大战，论爱恨情仇谁更疯。末尾 Price 化完妆那侧脸，以及最后在桌旁坐下的身影，乍一看真的很像 Cushing。
