创作思路上感觉是根据现有的热点话题（阴谋论、心理学、AI、监视国家...）追本溯源倒推回去做的，也是为什么前期东一枪西一枪但有劲，越看到后来越觉得叙事过于收缩过于算计无法令人满足。其实还是不够 emotional 又或者 not mainly about emotion. 但拿来当科普向的当代史还是灰常好了。
切入点其实非常新颖又精准。感慨这些例子似乎让人感觉这是个无解的议题，但是能有这样的展现并且很多人听到已经是很好的事了。倒也没有什么恶意揣测，毕竟每个例子都是被平等解析的。

BBC为了庆祝春节也是操碎了心。Adam Curtis果然还是跟主流西方媒体人一样，对中国和俄罗斯带着恶意的揣测并把这种揣测当作事实来谈论。所以他对中国和俄罗斯的批评显得格外无力，对西方的抨击倒是一针见血。主题上可以看作是The Century of Self的延续。配乐剪辑一如既往五星好评。
